Government of India is Providing Toilets to Eligible Beneficiaries under the Swachh Bharat Mission to make India an ODF. A incentive of Rs. 12,000/- for the construction of an Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) for all BPL households and identified APL households (SC/ST households), households with physically disabled persons, landless laborers with homestead, small and marginal farmers and women headed households) who do not have toilets in their houses.

Eligibility to Apply for Toilet Assam
Applicant Should be Permanent Resident of Assam.
Households should not have a Toilet.
Household Should Not Receive Funds from Govt to Construct a Latrine.
All BPL households and identified APL households (SC/ST households).
Households with physically disabled persons.
Landless laborers with homesteads.
Small and marginal farmers and women-headed households who do not have toilets in their houses.
