Eligibility Criteria for Ishan Uday Scholarship
Students who have completed Class XII or an equivalent exam at a school in NER, through any recognized Board of Education like CBSE, ICSE, or NIOS, and have been admitted to a general degree, technical, or professional course (including medical and paramedical courses) at a recognized University, College, or Institution, are eligible.
Institutions that are recognized :
Universities, Institutions, and Colleges listed under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act.
Deemed Universities under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, that can receive UGC grants.
Universities, Institutions, and Colleges funded by the Central or State Government.
Institutes of National Importance.
Institutions recognized by other statutory councils within or outside the NER states.
Student would get Rs.5,400/- per month for General Degree courses and Rs.7,800/- per month for Technical & Professional degrees (including Medical & Paramedical programs) via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Essential Documents
1. Domicile certificate to be issued by the competent authority.
2. Proof of annual income to be issued by the competent authority.
3. For renewals, the annual progress report and continuation of studies will be required to be
uploaded/ verified by the concerned University/ Institution/ College.
